The other day, I got to spend it in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. I passed this painting by Max Beckmann, a German painter 1884-1950. He painted this painting in 1926. It made me stop in my tracks as the figure was so beautiful, so content and peaceful sitting there. It reminded me of all the work I have been doing on behalf of our elders.
